Broken for You

Broken always carries the meaning of failure - broken life, broken marriage, broken car, etc. I want you to think of brokenness as a way of making "room" for you.
Make a break in the line to make room for you. Someone "breaks" the line in traffic to make room for you. Someone scoots over (breaks the sitting arrangement) to make room for you to sit down. 
Jesus said, "My body is broken for you," so you can be with Him! Amazing Love!

Coming After You

God is after you!
When you read that what is your reaction? My default or knee jerk reaction always goes to the bad. God seeks me and I am in trouble. I'm doing something I shouldn't and I'm going to be grounded or punished. So, I run "from" instead of "to."
There is a great song, "Reckless Love," which speaks of God coming after me. He comes after me to reveal who He is!
Will the real Jesus please stand up!

Going To See The King

Jesus was asked, "Where do you live?" He answered, "Come and see." Thousands will journey to visit the "place" Jesus was born or buried. These "places" are holy ground or a sacred space to many. 
Incredible as it is, Jesus said, "I will make my home in you and you - you are the temple of God." You are now the "sacred space" in this world!

The Book Being Opened

Have you ever started to read a book and never finished it? Why not?
I believe a book has to grab your attention as quickly as possible. If a book is too hard to understand you usually quit reading. There is something else interesting. . . I started to read a book and quit only to pick it up later and finish it. Why did that happen?
 
Reading is such an adventure. It is too bad so many people do not like to read. In this podcast I talk about a book no one could understand until someone begins to explain it. Take a listen - you might find it interesting.

Turbulent Waters

Rehearsal Dinner

A rehearsal dinner is a traditional pre-wedding ceremony and usually held after the wedding rehearsal and the night before the wedding ceremony. The purpose is for the relatives and friends of the bride and groom to meet and enjoy each other's company.
